Enjoy a snippet from the introduction:
As with any creative project, this book went beyond the initial topic of money. I set out to help teachers with their concerns about pricing, digital product creation, client work and smart revenue growth, but I realized that there was something underneath all that. Something that gave all those techniques and numbers their true meaning: the importance of running a sustainable business, of facing money shame, of seeing sales as an art form and a never-ending process of experimentation.
In the end, I decided to write this book specifically for online language teachers and coaches who no longer want the “freedom” of exhausting 1:1 classes at cheap (or even above-average) rates, who want to build something sustainable and manageable instead. The book is for teachers who are willing to discover the joy of doing the work that transforms and inspires. This book is for teachers who want something different but feel conflicted about the means that, some loud online voices say, will help them get there. This book is for teachers who do not want growth at any cost. To you, I hope this book is an inspiration and a call to a quiet revolution to find success on your own terms. Thank you for reading.
